Dublin Airport Sets New Passenger Record For June
Dublin Airport set yet another new passenger record in June, handling more than 3.1 million passengers – a 7% increase over the same month last year.
The continued rise in passenger numbers made it the busiest June in the airport’s 78-year history with 1.7 million travelling to Europe, 873,000 to the UK, 446,000 to North America and almost 92,000 travelling to other destinations including the Middle East, North Africa and Asia Pacific.
More than 14.7 million passengers have travelled through Dublin Airport in the first six months of the year, representing a 6% increase on the same period in 2017.
More than 752,000 passengers chose Dublin Airport as a gateway to connect onward to another destination between January and June, a 15% increase over the same period last year.
